a tree falls in the forest, democrats yell fraud

The only thing more annoying than hurricanes in Florida is hearing Liberals cry about election fraud. My congressional voting district had one of the closest elections in the country with the Republican Vern Buchanan defeating Democrat Christine Jennings by 400 votes. There have been recounts since the election ended, and Buchanan has increased his lead by around 35 votes. It seems like a fitting conclusion to the election for the district vacated by Katherine Harris.
This is one of the few areas of the country that uses a touch screen system for voting. This was the first election that I have used the screens and it’s a much improved system. However many Democrats are upset that there are 18,000 undervotes in this year’s election. What that mean is that 18,000 people left that race blank when they voted. Obviously Democrats think this means foul play, but I have another theory that doesn’t involve a sinister conspiracy. This is a very heavy Republican district and I think many conservatives refused to vote for Buchanan. He’s not an extremely popular guy, but who wants to vote for Jennings? That’s the most logical explanation, but for some reason Democrats keep crying foul when they’re the ones that keep getting away with fraud (see: Washington, Wisconsin, South Dakota). The machines used here are not the Diebold, but their main competitor ES&S.
