IBM has a series of commercials promising to bring us a smarter planet. Well, to be more specific they have a bunch of actors who are acting like real people (in this case doctors). I noticed this because there’s one person in particular that stands out.
Did you see him? It’s the Castrol Edge “thinking with your dipstick, Jimmy!” guy. How can you miss him? He’s got a huge beard and distinct accent. Which begs the question; in a smarter world shouldn’t IBM use an actor that’s not so recognizable?
