The amount of media attention about the “unhinged” tea party movement is ridiculous. At the very heart of this smear campaign is the Left’s intolerance. What else can explain their faux outrage about “alleged” incidents? Democrats act like the world began on January 20, 2009. Here’s a great video that talks about the absolute insanity of 2004. The last person on the video speculates that Democrats may have to “kill people” to get what they want. Sounds like headine news to me. The Democrats are likely to get wiped out come November because labeling a group of Americans as racist nutjobs isn’t a good idea when a large number of that group are independent voters. This isn’t a new tactic by the left. This came up during the 2008 election as well. I guess the left just feels like sticking with a winning playbook.
It seems mainstream journalists were unfazed by an army of Bush is Hitler signs, but one bad apple at a GOP crowd gets front page news. I’m going to go out on a limb here, but perhaps the media attention on the tea party has something to do with media bias. From the very beginning any criticism of Obama and the Democrats has be equated with racism. It’s such a shallow argument from an ideology that takes great pride in intelligence.
Did you know Sarah Palin is a leading political figure associated with the Tea Party movement and has her own show on Fox News? Did you also know Fox News remains the most watched news source on cable television? The liberal media bias is a farce. There is enough bias on both sides to prevent intelligent discussions from taking place.
How about we come to an agreement. I will admit I suffer from advanced stages of “Progressive Amnesia” if you admit to having a serious case of “confirmation bias” syndrome.
The reason FOX News’ ratings are so high is because the other news outlets are so bias. Deb, there are countless examples that I’ve posted over the years backed by studies. The coverage of Obama is the most positive in thirty years. 80% of journalists are Democrats. As bias as Fox is, it’s dwarfed by MSNBC.
