Huntsman Who? Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard wonders “[if] there [has] ever been a candidate more hyped by the mainstream media and unknown to the GOP base than Jim Huntsman?” I can’t think of one. Usually when the media jumps on the bandwagon of a GOP candidate no good can come of it. There is literally no one excited about his candidacy.

Bashing Rick Perry: One canidate getting people excited is Governor Rick Perry, who appears to be getting closer to running. Conservatives aren’t the only ones who are excited about the Texas governor. The deranged left is in a tizzy about Rick Perry. Over the past week Twitter is alive with Perry bashers. Here are a couple of my favorites from today…

Rick Perry is on 'the worst governors list'. Do we need a smiling ass hole like him in there making another George Bush mess? #p2

If the Bush years were a mess what do we have now? By almost any conceivable measure the average American’s life is worse today than it was four years ago. Obama has no plan to make things better and if his polices aren’t reversed things are going to get worse.

Texas Gov Rick Perry seriously needs a bitch slapping. #happytovolunteer

What goes through a person’s mind to write something like that? What has Rick Perry done that’s so evil? It seems that many on the deranged left live in some kind of parallel universe. I don’t think they realize they’re on the political fringe. I think I blame Jon Stewart, but Bill Maher is a more likely candidate. Here’s the thing, and while I understand this is a blanket statement, it’s generally true… Liberals who rant via Twitter and the blogs tend to go a bit overboard in their rhetoric. Not only is Palin’s approach to public policy wrong, but she’s a bitch, or worse. Rick Perry has a different ideology so he’s evil. What if we here at The Daily Plunge wrote about Obama like the deranged left does about Palin, Perry,  et al? Hmmmm… Maybe Club Soda will take a deranged left post and substitute “Obama” for “Palin”. This should be interesting.

Fake Moderate: Jon Stewart is a brilliant comedian, but he’s liberal. He’s very liberal and The Daily Show went from being a pop culture show and turned into a liberal mouthpiece under his stewardship. There’s nothing wrong with that and there’s an audience for it. I don’t have a problem with the market at work; however, Jon Stewart likes to pretend he’s a moderate.

It’s obvious that Stewart isn’t a moderate, but I’m not sure that liberals who watch the show realize they’re outside the political mainstream. They want to believe it’s true so it is. If you disagree with their point of view you’re either a racist, misogynist, or a homophobe. Or if you title your blog “Plunging Towards Gomorrah” you’re a homophobe. I guess it all makes sense if you’re crazy.

I WROTE that twitter because Perry is an idiot. He needs to be bitched slapped back into a reality that separates church & state. He also needs to start treating ALL Americans (not just Christians who agree with his politics) like human beings. That includes gays, women, Jews, Hindus, and Muslims. Not all Texans and Americans think like he does, so not all Texans and Americans should have his beliefs pushed on their lives. Its simple democracy and Perry needs to be bitch slapped back into it in any way possible. Stop printing my twitters without allowing me the chance to defend myself you crazy, irresponsible douche bag. As journalist, you should know better. Shame on you.

“If the Bush years were a mess what do we have now? By almost any conceivable measure the average American’s life is worse today than it was four years ago. I’ll just assume that Jeff and Angela know each other so I’ll just take both of these comments.

Jeff, you’ve completely missed the point. For eight years everything was blamed on Bush. Obama hasn’t done anything to make anything better. IF you’re so desperate for an example only a fool would defend ObamaCare. It’s a colossal mistake and it already driving up premiums.

Angela, your comment is even more deranged than your tweet. Thanks.

  4. Jeff says:

So you say this about Obama, “if his polices aren’t reversed things are going to get worse.” but you can not back it up? I asked for an example of these polices but you can’t supply one. Typical…

  5. Jeff says:

You are correct about premiums, one thing I do not agree with was how he delayed the full implementation & it gives the insurance companies a chance to raise rates to earn extra cash that they will not be able to in the future.

You are looking short term & not long term. I could go on, but its obvious you can’t see…

So I am just now reading this but I notice there seems to be a couple questions about the ‘bad’ policies of Obama… I’ll go ahead and just number them out for you.
1.) Obamacare: Socialized healthcare, can’t afford it, can’t understand how it passed, but it was shoved through one way or another, the congress at the time was willing to change the law to a majority instead of a 60% vote, just to get this thing through. Wait where’s the democratic process in that. Now on the bill itself, um yeah, there’s no possible way the govt can provide funding, we are supposed to be saving up for it now, yeah good luck with that. And I’ve seen what the govt can do when they take something over, it’s usually not pretty, look at the economy and the housing market. And you’re going to trust them providing your healthcare. Vets is one thing, every joe blow is a completely different thing.
2.) Removing private lending from student loans. Why should the govt care how our students pay for college, that’s right, you give the right money to the right schools, and all of a sudden you’re the educator.. Indoctrine.
3.)Backing union leaders who operate more like wise guys than businessmen..
4.)Pushing green energy in such a way the hog ties the real energy producers of America, ie coal and oil. And costing America trillions in unproduced, unharnessed energy.
5.)Operation gunrunner, though of course the president would never be directly tied to this operation, I can promise you someone in his office new about the operation, they get briefed daily on things like these. Oh yeah just in case you don’t read the news or pay attention, Operation gunrunner and fast and the furious I believe it was called, was basically supplying the mexican cartels with firearms, thus giving obama a new anti gun platform. Sadly one of the guns happened to kill an American operative.. and that’s the only one we know about.
6.) Not really a policy, but today the communist party of America has decided to back president obama.. Isn’t that great. And for you kids that don’t know what communism is, please read some history lol.
